We’re in need of a Social Media Strategist who has executed effective social strategies that authentically engaged technical audiences, earned followers, and won over influencers. Reporting to our Editor-in-Chief, you will drive broad awareness and consideration of the Nexmo platform through multiple social channels.
As our Social Media Strategist you will:

Build and execute social media strategy and content
Create, edit, and publish daily content that aligns with our brand vision, builds meaningful community connections, and encourages authentic engagement
Work with the Analytics team to create analytics framework for measuring social programs and provide critical analysis on campaign performance
Continuously improve our processes through data analysis, iteration, and innovation
Amplify through the social channel all content produced by the Content Marketing Team, ensuring it reaches the broadest audience within the product manager and developer communities
Develop and execute strategic, organic social programs and campaigns that drive awareness and consideration
Work with internal subject matter experts to coordinate the most meaningful responses to community interactions
Ensure messaging across multiple networks is consistent and adheres to overall marketing strategy and brand voice
Conduct and manage ongoing blogger outreach/key influencer programs
Understand basic research techniques and methodologies and use them to support development/execution of campaigns
Stay current with social media trends, issues and opportunities, serving as a domain expert on how to understand and navigate the changing social media landscape
REQUIREMENTS:

3-5 years experience in dedicated social media marketing role
Experience in executing word-of-mouth campaigns (including blogger/influencer outreach programs)
Experience in marketing to Q&A sites and niche forums, and establishing an authoritative brand voice within them
Expertise with Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
Able to collaborate with cross-functional partners to inspire engaging content
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience in B2B technology industry preferred
Able to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment where your work directly impacts the growth of the brand and the performance of the business.
