What entails a Regional Chapter Lead?
Jews For Entrepreneurship (JFE), a 501(c)3 non profit founded in San Francisco in 2009, is looking to expand its regional presence nationwide by nominating chapter leads to run the organization locally. JFE built a good brand as it has brought together high caliber speakers, investors, and entrepreneurs to be involved in its programs in San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, and Boston over the past 6 years. JFE London and UK launched in October 2016.
The regional chapter lead in your city will be in charge of JFE events and activities in the area.
Events can include regular monthly networking mixers or guest speaker sessions discussing startup related information ( such as product, sales, design, founder stories, funding trends, VC or angel investor perspectives, ect). There can be narrower verticals focusing on a single industry sector as well).
This volunteer position offers a great leadership opportunity to collaborate with other local Jewish or startup organizations interested in startups and innovation and represent JFE in your city’s Jewish community (be the face of Jewish innovation).
The goal of the activity is to bring together the Jewish (startup) community to meaningfully connect with each other and to provide it with innovative, high quality, and insightful content.
All regional chapter leads will have equal opportunity and standard training to be the leaders of their community.
