JFE Pitch is an opportunity for an entrepreneur to pitch his or her startup before a group of high profile judges and investors . This is one of a kind opportunity because it takes place in a close-knit, friendly atmosphere . A unique feature of this event is that it is open to pitchers and investors only, allowing for maximum privacy for recently launched companies that are in stealth mode/private beta, and for a greater connection between entrepreneurs and investors. The other benefit is for the investors, who will get a chance to be the first ones to discover some amazing startups. The event’s ultimate goal is to offer the entrepreneur useful feedback, great connections, and funding.
At each pitch, the judges will evaluate each startup based valuation criteria, offering the entrepreneur some useful feedback early on.
The first event was hosted on Jan 27th, 2011. We received wonderful feedback from both the pitchers and judges. The second was on May 26th, 2011, the third was on September 21st, February 23, 2012, March 22nd, and then on April 26th, 2012.
Our next and final pitch event is on May 24th, 2012, 6-9:30pm.
Submission Criteria:
5-6 presenters at each pitch. 7 minutes per presentation. Q&A by the judges afterwards.
5-6 powerpoint slides at most, with extra slides as backup for Q&A.
You are responsible to connect and follow up with judges or investors as we will not disclose their contact information after the event.
